Hi Carl, one way that I do it, is to load both sequence's into Lightwave.
Load Lightwave, click on Image in Layout, click on Load Sequence, and load
your two sequences. Next go to the Effects menu and load one of your image
sequence into background image and one into foreground image (foreground
should be the one you are fading from). Now click on foreground dissolve and
create an envelope to do your dissolve. Save your new sequence and you have
a dissolve. Hope that helps...
